0140 - Um tholos no centro dos Perdigões?

This is one of the structures that will be excavated this campaign. It looks like a tholos type tomb, but we have to extend the excavation area to expose it all and confirm the kind of structure we have there. If, as expected, it is a funerary context, that would be great. It would provide human material for the projects we are starting on mobility: the NIA project financed by FCT; an Australian project where we are collaborating; and a DNA project, also financed by FCT, and where Perdigões and other sites that ERA has excavated will be participating.  

Esta é uma das estruturas que vamos escavar nesta campanha. Parece ser um sepulcro tipo tholos, mas temos que alargar a área de escavação para o expor na totalidade e perceber que tipo de estrutura ali temos. Se, como se espera, for um contexto funerário, isso será óptimo. Poderá fornecer material humano para os projectos que temos a começar sobre mobilidade: o projecto do NIA financiado pela FCT; um projecto australiano em que estamos a colaborar; e um projecto de DNA, também financiado pela FCT, e onde os Perdigões e outros sítios escavados pela ERA participarão.
