In the Eastern side of Environment 1, which integrates at least one cist, a large grinding stone was put in a vertical position. Behind there are mainly depositions of cremated remains over the stones. In front, there are mainly dispersed human bones not burned.
E a sequência de grandes buracos de poste continua. Parece agora que é anterior à Fossa 40 dos cremados.
And the sequence of large post holes continues. It looks like that it is earlier than Pit 40of the cremated remains.
Thoses postholes are intriguing.
ReplyDeleteWe have almond shaped building in Bretagne build with postholes inside trench dated between -2550/-2150 BC, they are related to the beaker phenomenon. (Blanchet and al., 2012 ; Nicolas and al., forthcoming in 2019, in the Beaker settlement by Oxbow books).
Is it a circular, oval or almond shaped structure ? Considering the photographs of today, and thoses of the 28 July 2018 it look similar from wath we know in Northwestern France...But maybe I have too much imagination !

Well, so far we only have what looks like a half of the structure. If that is correct, then it would be oval with a strait facade. Though, it is not yet completely clear it spatial and chronological relation with the internal circular "henge". Maybe in the end of July things are a bit more clear. Thanks for the comment.
