This was our work from last night. The bigger cup mark has three lines forming a conic shape, like a tale. It remembers some representations that might be interpreted as comets. That is the case of the fragment of Perdigões (the internal dots suggesting bright), of some motives of Pala Pinta paintings (studied by Paulo Lima) and the unquestionable representation of Haley comet in Bayeux tapestry. It has been suggested that some of these cup marks assemblages might represent parts of the firmament. The possibility of this situation represent a comet may be everything but misplaced.
A- Perdigões shard / FRagmento dos Perdigões; B - Pala Pinta motive / Motivo de Pala Pinta; C - Part of Bayeux tapestry / Parte da Tapeçaria de Bayeux.
